Career Coaching

Career decisions are rarely just professional. They affect identity, confidence, relationships, and mental health. Many people come to coaching not because they lack ambition, but because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to translate their experience into a next step that actually makes sense.

I believe career coaching works best when it is practical and human at the same time. This work focuses on helping you understand how your skills and experience are currently perceived, clarify what matters to you now, and break a complex transition into clear, manageable actions. The goal is not to optimize you or push you into a predefined path. The goal is to help you make grounded decisions with more confidence and less noise.

Coaching is especially useful during moments of transition. After a layoff. When work is affecting your well-being. When you know something needs to change but cannot yet see the shape of what comes next. Together, we create clarity, reduce overwhelm, and move from rumination to forward motion.

My Career Coaching Background: I have helped people with their careers in a variety of settings.  It began as a Career Counselor for a community college where people would come to reinvent themselves through education.  Later, in private practice I helped people from all walks of life find their next steps: from burned out professionals to new college grads.  I have conducted research in the area of career change and developed products to help support people through the process.
